LWVW and TCS at Yale are co-sponsoring The Basics, a comprehensive discussion of all of the components necessary to begin a political career, both personally and professionally. Learn transformative speaking techniques, effective networking skills, and inspiration from local women in politics. Acquire the tools to establish a strong foundation to launch you successfully into civic leadership.

The training is designed for women and especially women of color interested in preparing to take that first leap into politics and plan to go from the comforts of home to the school board, city council, or the state house.
