Learn transformative speaking techniques\, effective networking skills\, and inspiration from local women in politics. Acquire the tools to establish a strong foundation to launch you successfully into civic leadership. \n\n\n\nThe training is designed for women and especially women of color interested in preparing to take that first leap into politics and plan to go from the comforts of home to the school board\, city council\, or the state house. \n\n\n\nThe event is free and is generously underwritten by the Patrina Foundation. DESCRIPTION:LWVW is supporting and is a digital partner with YWCA in connection with the YWomenVote National Town Hall\, a virtual live streamed national forum. The goal of this nonpartisan event is to help people understand the effect of voting on our community and highlight individuals’ specific roles in making their voices heard and taking action that drives meaningful change.
