Hosted at the Jacob Burns Film Center\, the evening will kick-off with a film telling the story of the massive “Listening to the City” town hall that shaped the rebuilding of the World Trade Center site. DESCRIPTION:The Westchester County Youth Bureau has invited high school girls throughout Westchester County to come together to be empowered in celebration of International Day of the Girl. The event features engaging and educational workshops\, guest speakers\, and performances. Established in 2019\, it is a day to inspire and empower girls from across Westchester County with a program of interactive experiences. The Westchester County International Day of the Girl (IDG) Conference is inspired by the United Nations’ International Day of the Girl Child\, which was established on October 11\, 2012\, to highlight and uplift girls throughout the world. \n\n\n\nLWVW will host a table in celebration of International Day of the Girl.
