See below for the Convention Agenda. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFeatured Speaker: Spencer Reynolds\, Senior Counsel in the Brennan Center for Justice’s Liberty and National Security ProgramTopic: Protecting Liberty and Security + Bolstering Checks and Balances \n\n\n\nSpencer Reynolds is senior counsel in the Brennan Center’s Liberty and National Security Program. Previously\, he was senior intelligence counsel in the Office of the General Counsel of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security\, where he advised on operations and policy related to domestic intelligence\, counterterrorism\, social media monitoring\, and other national security matters. He continues to work on those topics at the Brennan Center. Reynolds is a graduate of Wesleyan University and Washington University School of Law. \n\n\n\nWe welcome audience questions. See below for the Convention Agenda. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFeatured Speaker: Sasha Neha Ahuja\, Campaign Director for New Yorkers for Equal Rights*Topic: New York Equal Rights Amendment Kicks into Higher Gear \n\n\n\n*Sasha Neha Ahuja is an organizer and advocate who has run local and national electoral and issue campaigns. She currently serves as Campaign Director for New Yorkers for Equal Rights\, a Ballot Initiative Committee that will engage voters across New York State to affirm their support for a comprehensive Equal Rights Amendment that will appear on the ballot in New York in November 2024. Ahuja most recently served as National Director of Strategic Partnerships at Planned Parenthood Federation of America and Planned Parenthood Action Fund\, where she steered much of the local and national response to the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization decision\, ensuring that communities most directly impacted by abortion bans were centered in the national response. She has had a long history of work in New York and national racial and gender justice organizations. \n\n\n\nWe welcome audience questions.
