The League Comments on the proposed 2019 budget for Westchester County

On Novembers 16th County Budget Director Larry Soule presented the proposed 2019 county budget in a League meeting that was open to the public.

After the meeting League members convened to determine the League's commentary on the budget. The League statement will be presented at an open session of the Westchester Board of Legislators on December 5th.

Westchester DA Scarpino Speaks to LWVW

SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKER: WESTCHESTER COUNTY D.A. ANTHONY A. SCARPINO presented a timely overview of trends in crime, including the opioid crisis, in the County. He spoke at our Holiday Luncheon on December 6th at the Scarsdale Congregational Church.
